Now converted into a residential development, the owner of a top floor apartment with a private roof terrace sought to upgrade the existing decking o a fully non-combustible, Class A fire-rated solution.
The client required steps from the access door down to the terrace and so the installation team attached Zerodeck Fibre Cement boards to a rail-based frame, surface mounting the fascia boards and clip-fixing the steps.
The full system, from the pedestal right up to the surface finish, forms a Class A fire-rated system and meets the clients’ requirements for a non-combustible terrace.
