FAQS

Do you have a question? We may have already answered it!Our FAQs bring together the key information contractors and  landscapers ask about our raised flooring systems.

What are raised flooring systems used for?

Raised flooring systems are used to create level outdoor surfaces above uneven or sloped substrates. They provide adjustable support for outdoor applications such as decking, paving, balconies and terraces, whilst allowing drainage and service access beneath the surface of the raised floor.

There isn’t a clear-cut answer to this question, as it depends on many factors. The right pedestal system often depends on your build-up height, load requirements, slope conditions and whether the project involves decking or paving.

To help with this, we have provided information on our product pages and created a pedestal calculator to help guide your selection. If you think you need further support, our team is always on-hand to provide guidance.
