Easi-Shim: 1 mm Pedestal Shim

Easi-Shim is a flexible 1mm thick pedestal shim designed to improve stability, reduce noise, and helps to compensate for minor variations in paving thicknesses when required.

Placed directly on the pedestal head, it can be used whole or in sections to fine-tune levels while enhancing acoustic performance and shock absorption across stone, porcelain, and ceramic installations.

What is the Easi-Shim used for?

Easi-Shim is a 1mm thick shim used to improve stability, reduce vibration and noise, and compensate for small inconsistencies in paving thickness during installation.

Can the shim be cut or split?

Yes. Easi-Shim is designed to be used whole, in halves, or in quarters, allowing precise adjustment where only partial correction is required.

Is Easi-Shim suitable for fire-rated systems?

No. The Easi-Shim is not fire rated and should not be used with Class A or non-combustible pedestal systems, but is fully compatible with our entire polypropylene pedestal range.
